Luka Gurtskaia is a human rights advocate and refugee support specialist dedicated to advancing humanitarian protection, policy reform, and social integration for displaced communities. He currently serves as Refugee Program Officer at the International Association “Road to Home,” where he designs and implements social integration initiatives for Ukrainian refugees and Georgian IDPs while coordinating emergency aid and psychosocial support programs.

Previously, Luka co-founded and directed the European Affairs Institute (2022–2023), leading youth-focused initiatives on diplomacy, global governance, and democratic resilience. Earlier in his career, he interned at the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, contributing to international cooperation projects with organizations such as the Red Cross and Amnesty International to strengthen refugee assistance frameworks and reconciliation policies.

Recognized for his work in public diplomacy, peacebuilding, and human rights advocacy, Luka remains committed to defending democratic values, combating disinformation, and empowering displaced and marginalized communities through data-driven communication, education, and community engagement.
